Het bestuur van van de Suriname Conservation Foundation bestaat uit de volgende leden:
Occupies the position of Chairman of the Suriname Conservation Foundation (SCF). Ms. Hindori is an agricultural engineer and holds a degree in development economics from Wageningen University and Research (WUR) in the Netherlands. She previously served as the General Manager of Landbouwbank N.V. and was Chairman of the Suriname Bankers Association. Still active in the business community, she serves as a board member in various private and public companies, NGOs, and public-private partnerships (PPPs), including the Socio-Economic Council and the Suriname Investment and Trade Agency.
Currently serves as the Vice Chairman on the board of the Suriname Conservation Foundation (SCF). Mr. Malone has been involved in the sustainable management and conservation of Suriname’s natural forests, ecosystems, and biodiversity. He contributes to the development of national sustainable forest policies and the conservation of protected areas. He is also the founder of Conservation International Suriname and assisted in the establishment of the UNESCO Natural Site, Central Suriname Nature Reserve (CSNR), as well as in the creation of SCF.
Currently serves as the Treasurer on the board of the Suriname Conservation Foundation (SCF) and as the Permanent Secretary in the Directorate of Planning and Development Financing at the Ministry of Finance and Planning. Mrs. Sandel holds Master’s degrees in Business Economics and Public Administration. She coordinates development finance with International Financial Institutions, including IDB and WB, and supervises ongoing projects. Previously, she was a Junior Counselor on the IDB Board of Executive Directors (2013–2016) and worked at the Ministries of Planning and Finance. Mrs. Sandel has represented Suriname in various capacities abroad.
Currently serves as a Board Member on the Suriname Conservation Foundation (SCF) and is the Head of Corporate Communication Upstream at Staatolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V., focusing on community relations and environmental issues in the Saramacca operation. Ms. Riedewald is a public administration expert and environmental scientist with 11 years of government experience and nearly 10 years in the corporate sector. Her expertise includes environmental planning, systems analysis, community development, and stakeholder analysis. A passionate traveler and geography enthusiast, she embraces learning about diverse cultures and customs.
Currently serves as a Board Member on the Suriname Conservation Foundation (SCF). Experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the maritime industry. Strong business development professional with a LLM focused in Maritime Law from International Maritime Law Institute. Michel has written extensively in the Suriname Legal Journal on maritime subjects. He holds a master’s in International Maritime Law from the International Maritime Institute in Malta and a master from the Anton the Kom University of Suriname. He is the present Chairman of the Caribbean Port State Control Committee.
